Decorating for Easter and Spring
I don’t always add a lot of specific Easter touches to my spring decor depending upon when Easter falls. But this year Easter isn’t until late in April so I’ve splashed my cute DIY Easter Eggs all over the house.
As I mentioned, I’ve started adding some springy color to our great room and updated our winter hutch decor with a bunch of cute Easter touches yesterday. I have a small bin of Easter decor that I hold onto from year to year, mainly full of different faux Easter eggs that I’ve crafted over the years as well as some cute bunny decor. The fresh lights pops of pastel colours are really speaking to me these days. Our home feels so much more airy and uplifting with this springy injection of colour.
Do you remember those mini-cloches from my Valentine’s day hutch display? Well, I switched over my mini-cloche decor for an Easter egg theme. To create these, I simply placed reindeer moss inside a tiny clay pot, and laid one of my speckled Easter eggs on it…
This lovely and simple printable water-colour design comes in three variations – one with colourful eggs in a nest…
And two with white eggs in a nest…
