My Favourite Room over at Savvy Southern Style {and Friday’s Fab Five}

I have some super exciting news – today I am sharing my favourite room over Savvy Southern Style!! I was so beyond thrilled and honoured when Kim asked me to share my favourite space as part of her Favorite Rooms Series – I would love for you to hop over and visit me there today!

TGIF! I can hardly believe it is Friday again but I am so glad – I need a couple of days to catch up. I had a crazy busy week and am more then a little behind on the blog front… I spent the first part of the week down in beautiful Victoria BC, attending an amazing conference on Early Literacy for my “day” job as a Primary teacher. It was amazing and I came back full of fabulous ideas and tons of inspiration.

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen these pics already. Have you ever been to beautiful Victoria, BC? If you haven’t, it is definitely a place to add to your must-visit list. I have a soft spot for it because I spent my University years there, but it truly is a stunning city to see. Here I am in front of the world famous Empress hotel where our conference was held…excuse the wind blown hair… you know how it is around the ocean:)

And right across the street is Victoria’s Inner Harbour and our province’s Parliament buildings… Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia so our government meets here.

I love Sarah’s Laundry Room Makeover at Life on Virginia Street – I am hankering for a Michelle Armas Print just like hers…

This Patchwork Coat Hook at Beyond the Picket Fence really caught my eye… I love the rustic patchwork painted effect.

This beautiful bedroom struck a chord with me this week – I think because it is so fresh and calm and white. We are in the process of changing our master up a little bit and it is at that ugly-in-between-stage-where-nothing-matches-as-you-add-new-mixed-with-old-agggggghhhh stage. Maybe that is why this bedroom by Haven Help  Us made me take a big sigh of relief…

I am completely drooling over this awesome deck reveal at Simple Stylings… so much so that I have started working on some new additions to our deck even though we still have a few weeks until we can really enjoy it much…

Thanks for reading. And remember, my housie friends, HOME isn’t built in a day. Enjoy the journey.
